Acts as a technical expert on complex and specialist subject(s). Supports management with the analysis, interpretation and application of complex information, contributing to the achievement of divisional and corporate goals. Supports or leads projects by applying area of expertise.
Pricing Implementation Analyst - Global Pricing Center of Excellence - based in Mumbai, India.
Key business partner in driving Pricing Contract administration for US and Regions. The Pricing Implementation analyst should be comfortable in a truly multinational environment, working with different cultures and all the levels and functions in organization - such as pricing, sales, legal, Audit, Compliance, IT.
The key responsibilities of this role are;
1) to process annual ratecaps for corporate and retail customers
2) to ensure timely, accurate, quality checked rerate adjustments and research work for High Dollar Value Invoices for large customers\\accounts using the FedEx Pricing systems and relevant tools
3) to transform, optimize rerate processes for improved efficiency, reduced turnaround times and human intervention through process automation
To accomplish these goals as an Implementation analyst, you will
1) Collaboratively work with Sales, Pricing, Compliance, Legal, Audit, and IT teams globally (US and regions) to ensure timely, accurate setup of Pricing (discounts and rates) for all large FedEx customers
2) Be process and workflow oriented - you will gain extensive working knowledge of FedEx pricing processes, relevant tools and systems.
3) Drive rerate and pricing adjustment process transformation initiatives and work collaboratively with IT automation analysts to accomplish and launch process transformation solutions globally
4) Preferably need to work the same hours as the US Central Time Zone; or at least have a 50% to 60% overlap in working hours with the US Central Time Zone
Key skills needed for this role;
1) Good exposure to commercial aspects of business, RFP & contract management, process management/transformation, developing analytical solutions to business problems, reporting, MIS, creating business case\\presentations for executive management
2) Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail, in order to deliver precise and accurate results
3) Expert in SQL; Experience in using RDBMS: Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata
4) Business process oriented, workflows preferably in domains such as Finance, Banking, Insurance, IT consulting for businesses. Should have setup and documented policies and procedures, internal controls\\compliance mechanism for quality checked deliverables
5) Stakeholder management with Business (BAs, Pricing, Sales, Legal, Audit, Compliance) and IT teams (development and testing), effective communication skills to communicate with people across all levels including senior management and sales
6) Process transformation experience for improved efficiency, reducing manual intervention, and improving process turnaround times through automation. Liaison between Business (Pricing analysts) and IT automation analysts in effectively translating process efficiency requirements to tangible software requirements
7) Project management experience in planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring Pricing Contract administration tasks\\activities globally - ensuring committed timelines are met.
