A Data Analyst/MIS Executive (Admin & Logistics) is responsible for managing and analyzing data to support administrative and logistics operations. This role involves tasks like data collection, analysis, reporting, and system maintenance to improve efficiency and decision-making within the organization's logistics and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management:
Collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources related to logistics and administration.
Reporting:
Generating regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to management.
System Maintenance:
Ensuring the smooth functioning of the management information system (MIS) and other relevant software, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining data integrity.
Analysis and Insights:
Analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in logistics operations, such as transportation costs, inventory management, and delivery timelines.
Collaboration:
Working with different departments, such as logistics, procurement, and operations, to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.
Process Improvement:
Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency through data-driven insights and recommendations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong Analytical Skills:
Ability to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
Data Management Skills:
Proficiency in using databases, spreadsheets, and other data management tools.
Reporting Skills:
Ability to create clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of relevant software and systems used in logistics and administration.
Communication Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to identify and solve problems related to data and systems.
Knowledge of Logistics:
Understanding of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
Experience:
Relevant experience in data analysis, MIS, or logistics is often required.
