Business Analyst Data
Skills & Experience Required :
- Thorough understanding of different asset classes - Equity, Fixed Income and Derivatives.
- Experience of working in Quantitative Finance, Portfolio Construction/Management, Research applications or Trading programs
- Must possess strong SQL writing capabilities
- Must be an expert in using MS Office products like Visio and Excel
- Experience of working with multi-cultural teams in a geographically diverse environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think laterally to arrive at a solution
- Must have an eye for detail and analyses/relate to the business problem in hand
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop & maintain good relationships with all business and systems stakeholders
- Flexible and positive attitude, openness to change
- Self-motivation is essential, should demonstrate commitment to high quality solution
- Ability to learn and quickly get familiar with a complex business and systems environment
Good to have Skills & Experience Required :
- Experience of working with 3rd party market data providers like Bloomberg, Reuters etc.
- Experience of working in data platforms
- Understanding of quantitative analysis
- Programming language like python
