Responsibilities May Include:

Data Collection and Cleaning:

Assisting in gathering data from various sources, identifying and rectifying errors, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity. This might involve tasks like removing duplicates, handling missing values, and standardizing data formats.

Data Preprocessing and Preparation:

Transforming raw data into a suitable format for analysis. This could involve data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL) processes, and feature engineering.

Data Analysis:

Applying statistical techniques and analytical tools to explore datasets, identify trends, patterns, and insights. This might involve descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, and basic regression analysis.

Data Visualization:

Creating charts, graphs, and dashboards to effectively communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences using tools like Power BI or Tableau.

Report Generation:

Assisting in the preparation of reports summarizing data analysis results, including key findings, interpretations, and recommendations.

Collaboration:

Working closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other team members to understand business requirements and contribute to data-driven decision-making.

Learning and Development:

Actively participating in learning opportunities to develop technical and soft skills relevant to data analysis.

Data Quality Assurance:

Participating in data validation and quality checks to ensure the reliability of data used for analysis.

Documentation:

Maintaining clear and concise documentation of data processes, methodologies, and findings.

Required Skills and Qualifications (These are indicative and may vary):

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Basic understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (essential). Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus. Knowledge of SQL for database querying is a plus. Basic programming skills in languages like Python or R are beneficial. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
