Data Analyst
Role Overview
We're seeking a detail?oriented Data Analyst to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You'll partner with cross?functional teams to collect, clean, and analyze data, and communicate findings through clear visualizations and concise reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets).
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop dashboards and visual reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Design and execute statistical analyses, hypothesis tests, and predictive models.
- Present insights to stakeholders and recommend data?driven actions.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, finance, and engineering teams to prioritize data needs.
- Maintain documentation of data pipelines, definitions, and reporting logic.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 2+ years experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (including query optimization) and at least one scripting language (Python/R).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables).
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts (regression, clustering, time?series analysis).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with big?data platforms (AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake).
- Familiarity with Python libraries (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, seaborn) or R tidyverse.
- Knowledge of data?warehouse architecture and ETL best practices.
- Ability to work with unstructured data (text, logs, JSON).
