We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting production and operational data to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support strategic decision-making. This role is critical in identifying trends, tracking KPIs, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing floor.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Management
Collect and consolidate data from various manufacturing systems (MES, ERP, SCADA, PLCs, etc.)
Ensure accuracy, integrity, and completeness of manufacturing data
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze production data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement
Develop dashboards and reports to monitor key manufacturing KPIs (OEE, yield, downtime, scrap rate, etc.)
Create and maintain automated reports for daily/weekly/monthly manufacturing performance
Process Improvement Support
Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to identify process inefficiencies
Use data-driven insights to support lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other CI initiatives
Conduct root cause analysis for quality and downtime issues
Predictive & Prescriptive Analytics
Support implementation of predictive maintenance models using historical equipment data
Utilize statistical tools and machine learning techniques for production forecasting and optimization
Stakeholder Collaboration
Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
Partner with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to support operational goals
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or industrial setting Strong skills in data analysis tools such as: Excel, SQL, Python, R Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools Familiarity with manufacturing systems: ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), MES, SCADA, etc. Solid understanding of manufacturing KPIs and production processes Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
