Role Expectations and Responsibilities
a) answer business questions by using appropriate methodology with available data
b) analyze data via querying large relational databases
c) interpret the results of analyses and understand the business implications
d) communicate findings (analytic approach, results, insights and recommendations) to
non-analytic audiences
e) create and maintain dashboards and/or recurring reports that tell a story to our clients
f) acumen to work independently throughout the process, from requirements gathering to
delivering results, within a cross-functional environment that includes internal and external
clients/stakeholders
g) provide support to fellow team members
h) follow best practices and document projects/processes
Candidate Requirements1+ year of work experience in an analytics role
1+ year of work experience with querying relational databases (e.g. SQL)
1+ year of work experience with business intelligence and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI,
Tableau)Understand business questions and execute analysis to answer them
Ability to communicate analytic results and their business meaning
Aptitude to strike the right balance between quantitative methodology and providing timely
answers to business questionsConfidence manipulating and analyzing data from varying data sources, including relational
and unstructured data warehousesBachelor's degree
Preferred Candidate Attributes1+ year of work experience with analytical software (e.g. Python, SAS, SPSS). Databricks
experience is a plus.Marketing Analytics or Loyalty Program experience
Degree in a relevant quantitative field preferred (e.g. statistics, mathematics, economics,
operations research or social sciences)
