About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Data Analyst Intern

to join our analytics team. This role offers hands-on experience in data collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data-driven decision-making, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with analytical tools and programming languages.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure data quality and consistency. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Assist in developing dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio. Support the data team in automating repetitive data processes and improving data workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, finance, etc.) to support business decisions with data insights. Document methodologies, findings, and insights in a clear and concise manner. Perform ad hoc analyses and contribute to ongoing data projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in

Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics

, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Basic knowledge of

SQL

and one or more programming languages (Python or R preferred). Familiarity with

data visualization tools

(Tableau, Power BI, Excel, or similar). Understanding of

data cleaning, transformation, and exploratory data analysis (EDA)

techniques. Good communication and presentation skills to convey insights effectively. Attention to detail and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience with

Excel advanced functions

(VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.). Basic understanding of

statistical concepts

and hypothesis testing. Knowledge of

ETL processes

and

data pipelines
