Key Responsibilities

Data Collection and Cleaning:

Gather data from various sources, including e-commerce platforms (like Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, company websites), POS systems, and marketing channels; clean and preprocess raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

Use analytical and statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in complex datasets. This includes performing P/L calculations and payout reconciliations.

Reporting and Visualization:

Create reports, interactive dashboards, charts, and graphs using data visualization tools to communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.

Business Performance Monitoring:

Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as customer ratings, reviews, and operational statuses, to monitor business performance and identify areas for improvement.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with marketing, sales, product, and tech teams to understand data needs, support initiatives like GTM (go-to-market) strategies and A/B testing, and ensure data insights align with overall business goals.

Documentation and Quality Assurance:

Document analysis processes and methodologies, and assist in establishing data quality standards to ensure reliable analysis results

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in

MS Excel

(including advanced functions) and data mining/cleaning techniques. Knowledge of programming languages such as

Python

, R, and

SQL

(SQL is often a must). Experience with data visualization tools like

Tableau

or

Power BI

.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in a fast-paced team environment are essential.

Advantageous:

Prior experience with retail-specific software solutions, e-commerce platforms, or in a startup environment is often a plus
