Your Team
The Data Regulatory function is primarily responsible for reviewing data to be used in various regulatory reporting filings. Working with internal and external parties to ensure that all regulatory data is collected timely, accurately and loaded into the appropriate systems. Develop and maintain quality checks on the data to ensure accuracy.
Your RoleDevelop and maintain a strong understanding of end?to?end investment management and regulatory reporting processes by managing BAU data aggregation and system loading cycles, monitoring automated data quality tools.
Overseeing the full data lifecycle from sourcing, transformation, and enrichment, identifying and resolving data breaks or source changes, performing Level I accuracy and completeness checks on regulatory outputs.
Conducting UAT for new regulatory filings and data sources and supporting management reporting through data quality and integrity dashboards.
The Experience You Bring:3-5 years' experience of data or business analysis, investment operations or accounting in a financial services firm or professional consultancy organization
Fair technical skills and the ability to pick up new systems/processes quickly
Working knowledge of financial statements, asset classes and derivatives a plus
Team collaboration and working in shifts
Effective team player and Excellent interpersonal skills
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:Ability to communicate effectively with different audiences with clarity and conciseness demonstrated by well-developed written and verbal skills, and the ability to deliver content to moderate-sized groups
Organizational skills necessary to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and process several streams of work simultaneously
Self-driven and motivated with the ability to independently deliver assignments
Rich attention to detail to capture and communicate complex topics
Ability to judge the significance of issues and escalate accordingly.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, primarily Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Advanced Excel skills a plus.
Ability to run tools commonly available, e.g., PowerPoint or Visio, to diagram data or process flows, Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI.
