Job Summary

Candidate to be part of Business Intelligence Unit and will be involved in developing application leveraging Big data tools and Hadoop platform. Candidate would also be involved in discussion with Stakeholders and managing deliverables

Detailed Responsibilities

1. Candidate will be involved in designing solutions using Hadoop based technologies


2. Responsible for ingesting data from files, RDBMS and streams. Process the data with Hadoop, Python, Spark


3. Develop program/ algorithms in Python as part of data cleaning and processing


4. Develop efficient code using Big Data tools


5. Implement scalable solutions to meet ever-increasing data volumes using big data technologies


6. Understand the working of developed usecases


7. Engage in discussions with Stakeholders

Desired skills and competencies

1. Candidate should be proficient in Python/Scala


2. Should have good knowledge of Hadoop architecture


3. In-depth experience in Impala, Hive, Sqoop, Spark, any ETL tool, and should be comfortable in writing SQL queries


4. Candidates with Banking Domain Knowledge will be preferred


5. Good to have hands on experience in Data Streaming.


6. Good to have certifications related to Hadoop technologies


7. Should be a team player with good inter-personal skill


8. Should be able to interact with Business users and work independently.
