Job Summary:

The primary function of the Data Analyst I is to support the supply chain functional teams with prescriptive and predictive analytics including regression analysis, cost modeling and med-high complexity analysis that is turned into actionable insights for the business teams. This will support the process of adding value and productivity for the company.

Responsibilities:

• Tool capability owner for specific Supply Chain analytical tools including data governance, standard work & process improvement.
• Support the streamlining and automation of ad-hoc and standardized analytics and insights.
• Interact with data analyst I, database developers, scientist, data architects, and users across the organization to ensure timely delivery of relevant and user-friendly reporting.
• Act as team leader for data & analytics team with focus on daily execution of standard work, coaching and managing for daily improvement processes.
• Design standard data sets within a functional area and execute daily analysis for large volumes of parts and spend and provide actionable insight to the business teams in support of achieving productivity targets.
• Identify and support opportunities to reduce complexity, compress cycle time and automate day to day business processes.

Qualifications:

• Min 3 to 6 Years exp. in Data Analyst.
• Supply Chain / Procurement analyst experience including procurement, transportation, trade compliance and master data management functions preferred.
• Experience using data analytics tools including Alteryx, Tableau, Python/R and SQL programming.
• Ability to establish new business process using advanced analytics tools.
• Understanding of procurement / supply chain category management & business processes
• Good written and verbal communication skills. Must be results driven and a self-starter with a customer service mindset.
• Team oriented with excellent collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail, and a commitment to quality work.
• Experience working in a matrixed organization.
