Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced

Store Manager

to lead the end-to-end operations of our

Fruits & Vegetables Dark Store

. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of F&V handling, quality control, inventory management, and team management within a Q-commerce or retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:Store Operations Management

Oversee day-to-day operations of the F&V dark store to ensure smooth functioning. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across the store. Monitor inbound & outbound processes including receiving, grading, sorting, picking, and dispatch.

Inventory & Quality Management

Manage F&V inventory, stock rotation, shrinkage control, and shelf-life management. Ensure accurate GRN, stock audits, and timely replenishment. Maintain quality standards for all fruits and vegetables as per company SOPs.

Team Leadership

Lead, train, and motivate store staff including pickers, packers, supervisors & inventory executives. Create shift schedules and ensure adequate manpower availability. Drive performance, discipline, and employee engagement.

Customer Experience & SLA Management

Ensure orders are processed accurately within TAT and service SLAs. Work closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery. Resolve escalations related to product quality or delays.

Process Compliance & Reporting

Ensure 100% compliance with operational SOPs, FSSAI guidelines, and safety norms. Maintain reports related to inventory, wastage, breakage, sales & operational KPIs. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Vendor & Procurement Coordination

Coordinate with procurement/central buying team for stock planning. Manage supplier relationships for better fill rates and quality consistency.

Requirements:

Graduate with

3-6 years of experience

in F&V operations, dark store management, or retail. Strong expertise in handling fruits and vegetables, quality standards & cold chain awareness. Experience with team handling, inventory systems, and fast-paced Q-commerce operations. Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work in rotational shifts if required.
