Job Description

Mount Litera Zee School, Muzaffarpur is seeking a passionate and talented Dance Teacher who can inspire students through creative movement, promote cultural appreciation, and develop artistic expression. The ideal candidate will design and implement engaging dance programs aligned with the school's holistic education philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and conduct regular dance classes for students across different grades. Teach various dance forms including classical, folk, contemporary, and western styles. Prepare students for school functions, cultural events, inter-school competitions, and annual day performances. Collaborate with the music and drama departments to design integrated performing arts programs. Maintain discipline, enthusiasm, and inclusivity during all practice sessions. Develop lesson plans and maintain performance records for each student. Organize workshops, auditions, and rehearsals as part of the school's co-curricular calendar. Ensure safety and provide constructive feedback to students for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

Professional training or certification in classical or contemporary dance forms. Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in a school or performing arts institution (preferred). Ability to choreograph performances for various age groups and themes. Strong communication, classroom management, and student engagement skills.

Enthusiastic and creative approach to teaching. Ability to work collaboratively with faculty for cultural and annual programs. Innovative use of music, props, and technology in choreography. Passion for nurturing artistic talents in young learners.
