Job Summary:

We are seeking an energetic and skilled Dance Teacher with the ability to teach both Classical (Bharatanatyam / Kuchipudi / Kathak, etc.) and Western dance forms. The ideal candidate should be passionate about training students, choreographing performances, and contributing to the school's cultural programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct engaging dance classes across Classical and Western styles. Teach foundational techniques, expressions, rhythm, posture, and theory. Prepare students for events, competitions, and annual programs. Plan choreography, rehearsals, and stage presentations. Maintain discipline, attendance, and class decorum. Collaborate with Music, Art, and PE departments for integrated events. Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications & Experience:

Degree/Diploma in Dance or Performing Arts. 1-3 years of teaching experience in schools or dance academies. Proficiency in at least one Classical form and familiarity with Western styles. Strong communication, class management, and student engagement skills.
