Job Description

A dance teacher instructs students in various dance styles, develops lesson plans, choreographs routines, evaluates progress, and organizes performances. They foster a positive learning environment, promote proper technique, and communicate with students and parents. Key Responsibilities:

Teaching Dance Classes:

Instructing students in various dance styles (e.g., ballet, jazz, hip-hop).

Curriculum Development:

Creating structured lesson plans aligned with student goals and skill levels.

Choreography:

Designing routines for performances, competitions, or recitals.

Student Evaluation:

Monitoring and documenting student progress, providing constructive feedback.

Performance Organization:

Planning and leading student performances.

Safety:

Ensuring proper technique and warm-up procedures to prevent injuries.

Communication:

Maintaining open communication with students and parents regarding progress and performance.

Collaboration:

Working with other instructors, staff, and parents to enhance the dance program.

Professional Development:

Staying updated on new dance trends and teaching methodologies.
