Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging dance lessons to students in accordance with curriculum or studio guidelines. Teach proper dance techniques, posture, rhythm, and movement coordination. Develop choreography for performances, competitions, and recitals. Evaluate and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement. Maintain a safe and positive learning environment in the classroom or studio. Organize and participate in rehearsals, shows, and special events. Stay updated on current dance trends, techniques, and teaching methodologies. Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a Dance Teacher, Instructor, or Choreographer. Degree or certification in Dance, Performing Arts, or related field (preferred but not always required). Proficiency in [specific dance styles]. Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Creativity, patience, and enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring students. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, for classes and performances.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to demonstrate movements and techniques. Stamina to conduct multiple dance sessions per day.
