Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Teacher to instruct students in various dance styles, develop their technique, and foster creativity, confidence, and discipline. The Dance Teacher will plan engaging lessons, choreograph routines, and support students' artistic and physical development in a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Teach dance classes to students of different age groups and skill levels Instruct students in proper technique, rhythm, coordination, and expression Plan and deliver structured lesson plans aligned with learning goals Choreograph routines for performances, competitions, or examinations Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment Prepare students for stage performances, recitals, or school events Maintain discipline and encourage teamwork and confidence Attend rehearsals, staff meetings, and events as required
Required Qualifications

Formal training or certification in dance (any style or multiple styles) Proven experience teaching dance to children/teens/adults Strong knowledge of dance techniques and terminology Ability to demonstrate movements clearly and safely Good communication and classroom management skills
Preferred Skills

Expertise in styles such as Classical, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Ballet, or Folk Experience with choreography and stage performance Creativity and adaptability in teaching methods Patience and enthusiasm for working with students
