Job Description
DA-Desk process Disbursement Accounts on behalf of many vessel Operators globally, our role in the processing team is to make the job of the Vessel Operator as efficient as possible. We ensure the accuracy of Disbursement Accounts, and we provide insight into costs which Operators would not normally have. The role of the Junior Operator is to prepare the DAs and emails for the most efficient processing thereafter.
The role of the Junior Disbursement Officer is to support the preparation of and processing of DAs and email communications within DA-Desk.
Requirements
To prepare the submitted PDA and FDAs to ensure readiness for efficient process, including the following tasks
Freetext correction Voucher Processing
? Tag and categorise emails received in the sector mailboxes for easy prioritization for Snr DA Officers and Sector Managers
Desirable Skills:
? Have the ability to understand the basic requirements within an email to be able to tag appropriately
? A basic understanding of shipping terminology, epseically related to the port call operation.
