The D2C Sales Executive will play a critical role in converting customer interest into sales by delivering an outstanding shopping experience across digital platforms like our website, WhatsApp, chat, and social media -- and during offline events. You will also work closely with marketing and operations to support business goals, optimize conversions, and drive customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: -
Customer Engagement & Sales
Manage day-to-day customer interactions via website chat, WhatsApp, email, and social channels (Instagram DMs, etc.)
Provide accurate product information, handle queries, and guide customers to make informed purchase decisions
Drive conversions by upselling, cross-selling, and offering tailored recommendations
Follow up on leads generated through ads, email campaigns, and social promotions
Order Management & Coordination
Process and track customer orders, handle order-related concerns, returns, and exchanges
Coordinate with logistics and customer service teams for smooth post-sale experiences
Ensure timely updates on stock availability, dispatch timelines, and delivery status
CRM & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of interactions, follow-ups, and customer details using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
Track daily/weekly/monthly sales performance and share regular reports with the management
Identify patterns in customer feedback and sales drop-offs to improve the sales funnel
Campaign & Promotion Support
Support product launches, campaigns, and flash sales by being the frontline contact for inbound leads
Assist in executing sales-focused digital promotions in coordination with the marketing team
Offer real-time feedback to the marketing/content team on customer pain points or FAQs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field
1-3 years of experience in sales (D2C/eCommerce/telesales/retail preferred)
Skills & Tools:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong understanding of customer behaviour and modern digital sales practices
Hands-on experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.)
Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.)
Basic knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, and analytics dashboards
Comfort with social commerce and chat-based platforms (WhatsApp, Intercom, Instagram DMs)
Preferred (Good to Have):-
Experience with a D2C brand in fashion, beauty, health & wellness, or electronics
Exposure to digital marketing tools (Meta Ads, Google Analytics, email automation)
Multilingual communication skills (Hindi + regional languages preferred)
