Qualification: M.Sc. in Human Genetics/Bio-technology Candidate should be good in communication and presentation. Critical Accountabilities:

• Detect Chromosome abnormalities.
• Prepare Karyotyping, cultures and harvests cells/tissues to produce mitotic cell preparations.
• Prepare slides by Chromosome spreading, banding and staining.
• Analyze slide preparations to diagnose Chromosome abnormalities.
• Assist in managing consumable stock
• Maintain equipment\'s & instruments
• Sterilize/ fumigate/ clean culture room
• Perform documentation activities for the department
• Ordering for stock as per requirements
• Scientific and academic publication
• Taking classes for students

Skills & Knowledge:

• Knowledge of cytogenetic processes and terminologies
• Understanding of laboratory instrument handling (operation, adjustment and maintenance).
• Understanding of computer imaging.
• Understanding of research processes

Key Result Areas:

• Perform Cytogenetic activities
• Compliance to SOP and department\'s protocol
