: Job Overview



We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Cypress, JavaScript, and Python. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of test automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and API testing, with the ability to design, develop, and maintain robust automation suites for web and backend services.



Key Responsibilities



Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress (JavaScript).



Build and enhance automation frameworks for UI and API testing.



Write reusable test scripts and ensure scalability and maintainability.



Perform API testing using Python and related libraries (e.g., requests, pytest).



Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).



Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.



Analyze test results, log defects, and verify fixes.



Continuously improve test coverage, test reliability, and automation efficiency.



Required Skills



Strong hands-on experience in Cypress with JavaScript or TypeScript.



Good working knowledge of Python for scripting and API automation.



Experience with Mocha/Chai or similar JavaScript testing frameworks.



Experience with REST API testing and tools like Postman.



Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).



Knowledge of version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).



Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.



Good to Have



Experience with Allure or Extent reports.



Exposure to Docker and cloud-based test execution (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).



Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.



Knowledge of SQL or database validation.
