Job Overview:
We are seeking a
Cybersecurity Technical Writer & Analyst
to support our cybersecurity consulting services. This role involves creating technical reports, security assessments, research documentation, and proposals. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of cybersecurity concepts and excellent technical writing skills to prepare reports, policies, and pre-sales documents.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Documentation & Reporting:
Draft, edit, and format
cybersecurity reports, assessments, and incident reports
.
Document
cyber threat intelligence findings
, forensic analysis, and compliance gaps.
Write detailed
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), security policies, and frameworks
.
Proposal & Pre-Sales Documentation:
Prepare and structure
cybersecurity proposals
for clients and tenders.
Develop
PowerPoint presentations
for client meetings and cybersecurity training.
Assist in
responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFIs (Request for Information)
.
Research & Compliance Support:
Research cybersecurity trends, regulatory requirements, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
Support in preparing
ISO 27001 compliance documentation
for clients.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work with cybersecurity consultants and analysts to document findings.
Collaborate with the CEO and technical teams to align documentation with business needs.
Ensure clarity, accuracy, and professionalism in all written materials.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
2+ years in technical writing, cybersecurity documentation, or a related field.
Knowledge of Cybersecurity:
Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, SOC operations, VAPT, risk assessments, and compliance frameworks.
Technical Writing Skills:
Strong ability to write reports, proposals, and research papers with clarity.
Tools & Software:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), documentation tools, and basic graphic design for presentations.
Attention to Detail:
Ability to simplify complex cybersecurity topics for various audiences.
Preferred:
Experience with ISO 27001, SOC documentation, or regulatory compliance.
