Role Summary

The Cybersecurity Operations Lead will lead the company's vulnerability management and incident detection and response capabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting the security of our employees, customers, company, and brand. This role requires someone with a vision on how to build out a mature IT Security Operations Program for a global organization. You'll provide strategic leadership on the direction of our security operations capability, technical leadership to the teams involved, and business leadership during major security incidents and issues.

Essential Responsibilities / Expectations

• Lead the functional security operations team consisting of internal and external resources
• Ensure the security operations process correctly collects and stores logs, detects intrusions, identifies potential areas of security improvement or vulnerabilities, and engages in threat hunting across our enterprise
• Ensure the incident response process is operational and rapidly detects, responds, and address potential security incidents
• Develop and implement a long-term roadmap for security operations at WTS
• Brief our IT leadership on emerging security threats and develop proposals on how to address these threats through improving security controls and processes
• Lead and coordinate security operations processes for all departments across the globe.
• Experience working with senior management to brief them on emerging security threats and security incidents
• Engage with partners in the industry, law enforcement, and threat intelligence vendors; and share and exchange standard methodologies with our customers and the SaaS industry

Educational Qualification

B.S. degree or equivalent work experience in security, risk management, compliance, information systems or other relevant fields. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or similar

Experience Required (Min - Max year)

• At least 5 years of IT Security experience with 3 years of technical security leadership and engineering experience. Ability to develop a strategic plan, and also discuss details at a technical level with functional managers, engineers, and analysts
• Deep domain expertise in at least two of the following: intrusion detection and security monitoring, incident response, threat intelligence and analysis, and vulnerability management

Key Skills required

• Incident Response- Expert knowledge. Leader experience. KPI development. SOC Experience- Playbook development,
• Vulnerability Management- Expert technical and process owner experience.
• Security Architecture Assessment- Intermediate.
• Good Communication Skills

Good to Have:

• Cloud Security- Azure, GCP or AWS.
• An understanding and background partnering closely with security compliance, application security, and privacy teams.
