Role Overview

We are looking for a Cybersecurity & Compliance Content Lead who combines domain understanding in information security with clear, structured communication.
This is not a generic marketing or social media role. This role owns how Pelta explains cybersecurity, compliance, and risk automation to the market, while also taking full responsibility for search visibility, inbound credibility, and long-term authority building.

You will shape Pelta's regulatory voice, product narrative, SEO-led content strategy, and cybersecurity thought leadership across LinkedIn, the website, and long-form articles.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cybersecurity & Regulatory Thought Leadership
Track, interpret, and communicate updates related to:

Indian regulations: RBI, SEBI, DPDP Act
Global frameworks: ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, NIST
Create content that clearly explains:

What has changed
Why it matters from a cybersecurity and compliance perspective
Practical implications for organizations
Publish 2-3 high-quality LinkedIn posts per week reflecting real-world cybersecurity, compliance, and risk discussions.

2. Cybersecurity Product & Platform Storytelling
Develop a strong working understanding of Pelta's information security platform, including:

Continuous compliance and control monitoring
Control mapping across multiple standards
Evidence automation and audit readiness
AI-driven gap analysis and risk visibility
Translate platform capabilities into:

Clear product explainers
Feature-to-business-value narratives
Content that supports sales demos, proposals, and customer discussions

3. Website, Knowledge Content & SEO Ownership
Own Pelta's website content, blog, and knowledge resources end-to-end.
Create 1-2 in-depth cybersecurity and compliance articles per month, aligned with:

Search intent
Regulatory keywords
Product positioning
Take complete ownership of SEO strategy and execution, including:

Keyword research and clustering
Content optimisation using tools such as SurferSEO (or equivalent)
On-page SEO (headings, internal linking, metadata, content structure)
Regular content audits and refreshes based on performance and regulatory changes
Ensure content:

Is technically accurate and domain-correct
Builds trust with CISOs, auditors, compliance teams, and founders
Drives inbound discovery and long-term domain authority

4. Market Education & Positioning
Create insight-led content explaining:

Checklist-based compliance vs system-driven, continuous compliance
Point-in-time audits vs continuous readiness
The role of automation and AI in modern cybersecurity and GRC
Position Pelta through education and clarity, not aggressive competitor comparisons.

5. Founder Collaboration
Work closely with the founder to:

Convert weekly discussions, voice notes, or outlines into structured, publishable content
Maintain technical accuracy and alignment with product direction
Operate independently without requiring daily supervision.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
1-4 years of experience in one or more of the following:

Information Security
GRC / Risk / Compliance
Cybersecurity consulting or audit support
Solid understanding of:

Cybersecurity standards and compliance frameworks
Regulatory compliance concepts
Strong written communication skills:

Clear, professional, and technically grounded
Able to simplify complex topics without dilution

Good-to-Have
Exposure to SaaS or compliance automation platforms
Experience writing technical blogs, whitepapers, or LinkedIn thought leadership
Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as SurferSEO, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or equivalent
Understanding of search intent in B2B SaaS / cybersecurity / compliance domains
Comfort working in an early-stage or scaling startup environment
