Role summary

The

Cyber Security Trainer

will train students on cybersecurity and ethical hacking topics at the in-house training center and at partner colleges assigned by the organization. The role focuses on delivering practical, industry-oriented sessions that make students job-ready in the cyber security domain.?

Key responsibilities

Conduct in-house and on-campus (college) training sessions on core cyber security and ethical hacking concepts.? Deliver sessions on topics such as networking basics, operating systems, network security, web application security, ethical hacking, VAPT, malware analysis, cryptography, and incident response.? Design, customize, and update training content, PPTs, lab manuals, and assignments as per curriculum and college requirements.? Plan and execute hands-on labs using tools like Kali Linux, Nmap, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Wireshark, etc., to provide practical exposure.? Conduct assessments, quizzes, and practical evaluations; track student performance and share feedback for improvement.? Maintain training-related documentation such as attendance, feedback, evaluation scores, and reports.? Coordinate with internal teams and college coordinators for scheduling, infrastructure, and smooth delivery of sessions.? Stay updated with latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and tools, and incorporate these into the training content.? Represent the organization professionally during college visits, seminars, workshops, and events.?
Education & eligibility (2023 pass-outs only)

B.Tech / B.E or Master's degree (M.Tech / M.Sc / MCA) in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, IT, or related discipline from a recognized university.? Year of passing:

Only 2023 pass-out candidates

are eligible for this role (regular mode preferred).? Freshers with strong academic projects, internships, or certifications in cyber security / ethical hacking are encouraged to apply.?
Required skills & competencies

Strong fundamentals in computer networks, operating systems, web technologies, and information security concepts.? Basic to intermediate hands-on knowledge of cyber security tools and platforms such as Kali Linux, Nmap, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Wireshark, and similar utilities.? Good understanding of topics like vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, OWASP Top 10, secure coding basics, and incident handling.? Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom-handling skills with the ability to explain complex topics in simple language.? Willingness to travel to assigned colleges within the region for offline training, workshops, seminars, and bootcamps as per schedule.? Strong

Preferred certifications (added advantage, not mandatory)

Any beginner or intermediate level certification in Cyber Security / Ethical Hacking such as CEH (Practical / ANSI), CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or equivalent.? Relevant MOOCs or online certifications in cyber security from reputed platforms (Coursera, etc.) will be a plus.?
