Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled

Cyber Security Specialist

to strengthen our security posture. You will be responsible for safeguarding our infrastructure, applications, and data from cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and unauthorized access. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are embedded at every stage of product development and IT operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity Strategy & Governance

Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines. Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits across systems and applications.

Threat Protection & Monitoring

Monitor security alerts and logs from tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, etc. Identify and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and intrusion attempts.

Vulnerability Management

Perform regular vulnerability scanning and penetration testing. Work with development and ops teams to remediate identified security gaps.

Identity & Access Management (IAM)

Manage and enforce secure authentication and authorization frameworks. Implement least-privilege access controls and multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Secure Development

Ensure secure coding practices are followed by development teams. Review code and architecture for potential security flaws.

Incident Response & Forensics

Lead incident response activities and coordinate with stakeholders. Perform detailed investigation and forensic analysis when required.

Awareness & Training

Conduct security awareness sessions for internal employees. Promote a security-first mindset across the organization.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, IT or related field (Master's preferred).

3+ years

of experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, or related roles. Strong understanding of security principles, standards, and best practices. Hands-on experience with: Firewall and intrusion detection/prevention systems. SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, etc.). Vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys, etc.). Endpoint protection and secure network architecture. Familiarity with regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI DSS, etc.). Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Certifications such as

CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+

. Experience with DevSecOps and automation tools. Familiarity with encryption technologies, SIEM tuning, and threat intelligence platforms. Strong communication and leadership skills.
