Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deliver cybersecurity training programs (online & classroom)
Teach foundational to advanced cybersecurity concepts:
Network Security
Ethical Hacking
Security Operations Center (SOC)
Cyber Laws and Compliance
Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT)
Incident Response and Risk Management
Prepare training materials, manuals, and handouts
Conduct regular assessments and provide feedback to trainees
Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends and certifications
Support learners in preparing for industry certifications (e.g., CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP)
Evaluate and continuously improve the training process and content
Key Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and tools
Hands-on experience with tools like Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Kali Linux
Familiarity with firewalls, SIEM tools, IDS/IPS
Excellent presentation, communication, and mentoring skills
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar
Prior training or teaching experience is a plus
Cyber Security Duties:
Monitor network traffic, logs, and alerts to detect and respond to threats.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and best practices.
Investigate security incidents and generate detailed incident response reports.
Ensure compliance with standards like ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.
AI/ML Integration:
Develop or utilize AI/ML models to enhance threat detection (e.g., anomaly detection, behavioral analytics).
Integrate AI tools with SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems for real-time threat analysis.
Work with data scientists to curate cybersecurity datasets for model training.
Evaluate AI systems for bias, false positives/negatives, and suggest improvements.
Tools & Technology Use:
Use cybersecurity tools like Splunk, Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, etc.
Leverage AI platforms like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or cybersecurity-specific AI tools.
Automate threat hunting and incident response using Python, Bash, or scripting tools.
