is seeking a

Cyber Security Specialist

to support a national leader in secure systems for a federal partner located in

Fort Belvoir, VA.

The Cyber Security Specialist will provide advanced technical support for secure systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure compliance with federal security requirements while collaborating with engineering and system administration teams.

Responsibilities of the Cyber Security Specialist include:

Analyze system performance and recommend improvements


Troubleshoot operating systems and network issues; implement corrective actions


Provide technical support to system administrators and field personnel


Conduct research and development on security systems and interoperability scenarios


Maintain and update preventive maintenance checklists for system changes


Prepare detailed documentation of system performance and service requests


Train system users and support personnel on secure system operations

Qualifications for the Cyber Security Specialist include:

Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 5 years of experience


Experience as a Systems Administrator/ISSO performing triage, problem resolution, and system extension


Experience with installation, troubleshooting, and testing of electronic security systems


Xacta experience preferred


Ability to work flexible schedules, including occasional nights and weekends


IAT Level II certification


Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Compensation for the Cyber Security Specialist includes:

Salary Range: $160,000 - $200,000 depending on experience
