Introduction: A Cyber Project Manager is a skilled professional responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of cyber security projects within Markets Post Trade. The role involves an understanding of Cyber threats, technologies and risk management strategies along with excellent project management skills. The primary objective is to ensure the successful planning, execution, monitoring and completion of cyber security initiatives. What will you be doing Risk Management: Identify, assess, and prioritise project risk. Develop risk mitigation plans and ensure that the team is prepared to address unforeseen challenges promptly. Project initiation: Gather requirements, conduct feasibility studies and define the project scope in collaboration with stakeholders. Clearly outline project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria. Quality Management: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that cybersecurity solutions meet the required standards and specifications. Conduct regular quality checks and performance evaluation. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders at various levels, including executives, clients and project team members. Address stakeholder concerns, gather feedback, and maintain positive relationships TimeLine Management: Development detailed project schedules, set milestones, and monitor progress against established timelines. Pro-actively identify delays and implement corrective measures to keep the project on track. Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate and up to date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and change requests. Generate regular reports for management review Compliance and Security: Ensure that all cybersecurity initiatives adhere to relevant laws, regulations and industry standards. Guarantee the confidently, integrity and availability of sensitive data throughout the project lifecycle By being accountable for these key areas, a cyber project manager ensures the successful planning, execution, and complexity and critical nature of cybersecurity projects. What we\'re looking for: Project Management Skills . Experienced with managing projects/ project teams/ project plans -- can identify and track the critical path of the programme. Has in-depth knowledge of the project lifecycle process . Actively anticipates and identifies stakeholders manages stakeholders proactively. Works co-operatively towards common goals with relevant colleagues. . Is comfortable with and enjoys working at a detailed level across planning, tracking and reporting. Data analysis Skills: . Skills in data analysis and interpretation. Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL or data visualisation tools can be beneficial for analysing cyber security trends and patterns. . Experience with PowerPoint Communication Skills: . Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for conveying complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Clear communication fosters collaboration and understanding. Adaptability . The ability to adapt to evolving technologies and changing cybersecurity threats. Being proactive in learning about emerging trends and technologies in the field. Risk Management: . Ability to identify. Assess, and mitigate risks effectively. Skills in developing risk mitigations strategies and contingency plans are vital to ensure project success. Problem Solving: . Advanced problem solving skills are necessary to analyse complex issues, identify root causes and develop effective solutions. Cyber Project Managers must be adept at troubleshooting and thinking critically. Skills that will help you in the role: . Experience with Veracode, Prisma, CyberArk, CSM and other general vulnerability remediation planning . Tableau Reporting or similar toolset . Experience within financial services .
