About the Position
We are looking for an experienced and passionate
Cyber Security Trainer
to deliver high-quality, practical training sessions to college students and young professionals. This role combines subject expertise with effective facilitation, content development, and stakeholder coordination to equip learners with industry-relevant cyber security skills.
Responsibilities
Training & Facilitation
Conduct interactive classroom and online sessions on cyber security fundamentals, threat management, ethical hacking, and best practices
Adapt delivery methods to engage diverse learner groups and ensure clarity of complex concepts
Design and deliver project-based learning modules, case discussions, and hands-on exercises
Content Development & Session Planning
Develop and continuously update training materials, presentations, and practice assignments aligned with industry trends
Create structured session plans and learning flows tailored to the target audience
Integrate real-world scenarios to demonstrate the application of cyber security principles
Learner Engagement & Mentorship
Guide students through labs, projects, and assessments to reinforce concepts
Provide mentoring support to address learner queries and career-related guidance in the cyber security domain
Collect feedback and adjust content and methods to improve learner outcomes
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain attendance records, learning assessments, and session reports
Prepare periodic reports on learner progress, training impact, and recommendations for program improvements
Document success stories and program highlights for internal and external use
Collaboration & Coordination
Liaise with program teams, academic coordinators, and partner institutions for scheduling and logistics
Participate in review meetings, curriculum updates, and training of peer facilitators when required
Support outreach activities to increase student participation in cyber security programs
Mandatory Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related fields
3-5 years of experience as a trainer, faculty, or facilitator in cyber security (experience with college students is desirable)
Strong knowledge of cyber security fundamentals, tools, frameworks, and threat management
Excellent communication and presentation skills to simplify complex topics
Ability to design engaging session flows and interactive content
Experience delivering both in-person and online training sessions is an advantage
Good command of English; familiarity with local languages will be a plus
Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to learner success
