About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented

Cyber Security Intern

to join our security team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world cybersecurity practices, including threat detection, vulnerability assessment, and security operations. The intern will work closely with experienced professionals to help safeguard systems, networks, and data.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in monitoring networks and systems for security threats and suspicious activities Support vulnerability assessments and basic penetration testing Help analyze security logs, alerts, and incident reports Assist in implementing security controls and best practices Participate in security audits, risk assessments, and compliance activities Document findings, prepare reports, and maintain security documentation Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and technologies

Required Skills & Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, IT, or a related field Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and cybersecurity fundamentals Familiarity with concepts such as firewalls, malware, phishing, and encryption Knowledge of any scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.) is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred (Nice to Have)

Exposure to security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, or antivirus tools Basic knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Participation in CTFs, labs, or cybersecurity projects
