Role & responsibilities

As a

Cybersecurity Intern

, you will gain hands-on experience in ethical hacking, network defense, and security analysis while working under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities

Assist in

monitoring and analyzing network traffic

to detect potential threats or vulnerabilities. Participate in

vulnerability assessments and penetration testing

for web applications, networks, and systems. Support the team in

incident response

identifying, investigating, and documenting security events. Research and report on

emerging cyber threats, attack techniques, and security best practices

. Help in configuring and maintaining

security tools

such as firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems. Assist in developing and maintaining

security documentation

, including policies, procedures, and incident logs. Participate in

cyber labs and simulated attack-defense exercises

to enhance practical skills. Collaborate with IT and security teams on

implementing security controls and compliance measures

Preferred candidate profile

Basic knowledge of

networking, operating systems, and information security concepts

.

Familiarity with

Linux, Python, or scripting

is a plus. Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail. Eagerness to learn and explore the cybersecurity domain.
