Job Description

Assist in monitoring network and system security events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK, Microsoft Sentinel). Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing under supervision. Help in identifying and documenting potential security risks and incidents. Participate in incident response, including investigation, containment, and reporting. Assist with patch management, endpoint security, and access control reviews. Conduct research on the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and attack techniques. Support compliance efforts with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR. Prepare and maintain security documentation and reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or related field

. Basic understanding of

networking concepts, firewalls, and security protocols

. Familiarity with

operating systems (Windows, Linux)

and

command-line tools

. Knowledge of

common vulnerabilities and attack vectors

(OWASP Top 10, phishing, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
