Job Description

We are looking for a motivated

Cyber Security Intern / Fresher

with foundational knowledge of

networking, monitoring systems, and core cyber security concepts

. The candidate will assist the security team in monitoring, analyzing, and securing IT infrastructure against cyber threats while gaining hands-on experience in real-world security operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in

monitoring network traffic and security alerts

using monitoring and SIEM tools Support day-to-day

security operations and incident response activities

Identify, analyze, and report

security vulnerabilities and threats

Assist in

log analysis, system audits, and security assessments

Help maintain and update

security documentation, reports, and policies

Support implementation of

security controls, firewalls, and endpoint protection

Stay updated with the latest

cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends

Work closely with senior security analysts and IT teams

Required Skills & KnowledgeNetworking

Basic understanding of

TCP/IP, OSI Model, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS

Knowledge of

routers, switches, firewalls

, and network protocols Basic troubleshooting of network issues

Cyber Security Fundamentals

Understanding of

cyber threats

(malware, phishing, ransomware, DDoS, etc.) Knowledge of

information security principles

(CIA Triad) Basic awareness of

Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT)

Familiarity with

firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and endpoint security

Monitoring & Tools

Basic knowledge of

network and system monitoring tools

Awareness of

SIEM concepts

(e.g., Splunk, ELK, QRadar - basics preferred) Log monitoring and alert analysis fundamentals

Preferred (Good to Have) Skills

Basic knowledge of

Linux and Windows operating systems

Familiarity with

ethical hacking tools

(Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, Metasploit - basics) Understanding of

cloud security fundamentals

(AWS/Azure/GCP - optional) Any

cyber security certification

(CEH, Security+, CCNA - optional)

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree or diploma in

Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or related field

Final-year students or recent graduates are welcome
