Role Overview

We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer who will strengthen Testfyra's internal and client-facing security posture across telecom networks, SaaS platforms, and cloud-native infrastructure. This role is hands-on, with responsibility for testing, monitoring, and defending client environments against cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

Perform penetration tests, vulnerability scans, and red teaming on enterprise and telecom infrastructure. Secure cloud and containerized environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker). Implement and maintain SIEM, SOC, and security automation pipelines. Conduct risk assessments and compliance readiness (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI DSS). Collaborate with Testfyra's solution architects and developers to embed security into CI/CD and DevOps pipelines. Provide incident response and threat hunting support to clients.

Essential Skills & Tools

Pen Testing & Exploitation: Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Wireshark, Nmap Vulnerability Management: Nessus, OpenVAS, Qualys, Rapid7 SIEM & Monitoring: Splunk, Elastic Security, Microsoft Sentinel, Wazuh Firewalls & Network Security: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, IDS/IPS Cloud Security: AWS GuardDuty, Azure Defender, GCP Security Command Center DevSecOps: GitHub Advanced Security, GitLab Security, OWASP ZAP, Trivy

Hands-On Experience Areas ( Good to have )

Telecom Core Security: IMS, 5G, VoWiFi, ePDG, AAA, HSS/UDM (advantageous) Incident Response & Forensics: log analysis, malware detection, packet forensics Compliance & Governance: ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR, ETSI/3GPP SA3 standards
