Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled

Cybersecurity Guard with Penetration Testing expertise

to join our security operations team. This role combines proactive threat defense, real-time monitoring, and offensive security testing to identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities in our systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

Defensive Security Duties (Cyber Guard):

Monitor and respond to security alerts via SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR tools. Conduct routine threat assessments and security patrols of digital infrastructure. Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents. Log and report incidents, false positives, and suspicious activities. Assist in maintaining firewall rules, endpoint protections, and access controls.

Offensive Security Duties (Penetration Testing):

Perform penetration testing on web apps, networks, APIs, and cloud infrastructure. Conduct social engineering simulations (phishing, physical access tests, etc.). Create detailed, actionable reports on findings with risk ratings and recommendations. Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and compliance teams to address vulnerabilities. Continuously research emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and hacking techniques.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. 2+ years of hands-on experience in both SOC or blue team roles and penetration testing. Strong knowledge of security tools:

Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Wireshark, Nessus

, etc. Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK, and CVE databases. Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Understanding of network protocols, Linux/Windows internals, and common attack vectors.

Preferred Certifications:

Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)

CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)

eJPT, GPEN, or equivalent

Pay: ?35.00 - ?60.00 per month
