About The Job:

• Come join Client's PSC team as Software Engineer II.
• This team is responsible for providing creation and support for Client AMI's/Container images through automations.
• The ideal candidate is passionate about cloud technology, In-depth Linux knowledge and containers
• As a member of this team, you will bring your industry expertise to help the team navigate through challenges and collaborate with the functional team to develop and bring their best to the work they do every day.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide technical support 12x7 to end-users and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner through slack and Jira
• Build and maintain services developed in GO
• Build and Maintain GCP Machine images/Client AMI's/Container Images using certain custom tools developed & maintained by Client.
• Effective collaboration with stakeholders and the ability to manage their expectations
• You will be responsible for developing and maintaining technical documentation.

Qualifications:
Required Skills

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in designing and building scalable, cloud-native applications.
• Proficient in Go (Golang) and Python, with hands-on experience deploying applications on Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of AWS cloud services, including compute, storage, databases, and networking.
• Practical experience with AWS and container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Podman.
• Strong knowledge of AWS database technologies such as RDS, DynamoDB, and Aurora.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and designing RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience in automating builds and deployments using tools like Jenkins, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira.
• A passion for continuous improvement and automation across the software delivery lifecycle.
• Excellent problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
