Cutting Master
to join our production team.
Key Responsibilities
Take accurate measurements and prepare cutting layouts as per style requirements.
Cut fabrics for maternity wear, baby wear, and lifestyle garments with precision.
Plan fabric consumption to minimize wastage and optimize efficiency.
Check pattern accuracy and make necessary adjustments for fall, fit, and comfort.
Supervise helpers during the spreading, layering, and cutting process.
Ensure correct bundling, tagging, and quality checks post cutting.
Maintain fabric inventory and report shortages in advance.
Work closely with sampling and production teams to meet daily cutting targets.
Skills & Requirements
Proven experience as a Cutting Master in women's wear; maternity wear experience is a plus.
Strong understanding of fabrics like cotton, rayon, knit fabrics, silk blends, and stretch materials.
Ability to read patterns, markers, and style specs accurately.
Detail-oriented with excellent precision and time management.
Knowledge of cutting machinery and tools.
Ability to manage helpers and maintain workflow in a fast-paced environment.
