We are looking for a detail-oriented Cutlist Operator to translate design drawings into precise cutting lists. You will collaborate with design and production teams to ensure accuracy, material efficiency, and minimal waste.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate Cut Lists:
Create accurate cut lists and Bills of Materials (BOM) from engineering drawings.
Material Optimization:
Use BIM related software to optimize layouts and reduce wastage.
Blueprint Interpretation:
Interpret interior drawings and blueprints for production requirements.
Quality Control:
Verify all dimensions, quantities, and material types prior to processing.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with designers and machine operators to resolve technical and non-technical issues.
Inventory:
Monitor material usage and assist with inventory tracking and order placing.
Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum 1 year in a similar role or the furniture/manufacturing industry.
Software Skills:
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
and
Smart 2D Cutting/Max Cut
; basic knowledge of
SketchUp
.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (drafting/woodworking certification is a plus).
Key Competencies:
Strong math skills, 3D visualization ability, and excellent communication.
