Role Overview:



We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Customer Support Specialist to join our team. The Customer Support Specialist will play a critical role in supporting our students' academic success. This position involves providing virtual counseling, academic guidance, and technical support to help students navigate their online educational journey and overcome any challenges they may face.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a persuasive approach, and the ability to connect with potential learners. This role involves outbound calling to generate interest, provide information, and drive enrollments for our online education programs.

Responsibilities:



Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chat inquiries from students and potential learners. Initiate outbound calls to potential learners with the goal of promoting our online courses. Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and unique selling points of our online courses. Provide accurate and detailed information about courses, enrollment process, and enrollment procedures offering support and troubleshooting as needed. Act as a primary point of contact for learner inquiries related to technical issues, course access, account management, and other platform functionalities. Provide prompt and effective solutions to learner problems by interacting with Program Managers, escalating issues when necessary. Collaborate with other departments, including technical support and academic advisors, to resolve complex issues. Build and maintain positive relationships with potential learners. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns effectively.

Desired Skills and Experience/ Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in any stream. 2 years of experience in sales, customer support/service is preferred. Excellent communication skills in Kannada, English and Hindi. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport over the phone. Familiarity with EdTech and online learning platforms is advantageous. Solution-Focused Mindset: When identifying a problem, immediately shifts focus toward proposing and implementing practical solutions. Problem-Solving Under Stress: Proven ability to remain calm, focused, and objective when facing unexpected challenges or setbacks, viewing them as opportunities for resolution rather than obstacles. Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. Create, format, and maintain detailed spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel. Maintain exceptionally high proficiency in typing and transcription in English. Draft clear, concise, and professional emails and support tickets.
