About the Role
You'll handle UK tenant calls/emails for rent collection and maintain accurate payment records. The role needs strong data entry skills, clear English communication, and
basic accounting knowledge
(correct
debit/credit classification
across typical transactions). Training will be provided on internal systems.
Key Responsibilities
Record, update, and maintain
rent payment
data accurately.
Make
outbound follow-ups
(calls/emails) for overdue rents; log outcomes.
Post cash to ledgers
correctly (Bank, Sales/AR, Deposits/Suspense) and reconcile with statements.
Use
Excel
to track payments, prepare simple reports (aging, exceptions).
Work with Finance/Property teams to resolve discrepancies and month-end tidy-ups.
Maintain tidy records and follow internal policies.
Requirements
English communication
strong enough for UK voice calls.
Fast, accurate
data entry
; comfortable with Excel (filters/sort; basic formulas; pivots a plus).
Basic accounting
: double-entry,
debit/credit
for receipts, charges, refunds, and adjustments.
Confident making polite follow-up calls for overdue payments.
Fast learner; able to work UK shifts.
