This role is part of a fast-growing digital innovation team focused on building and scaling value-based digital products for farmers. The position offers an opportunity to directly drive adoption of agri-tech solutions at the village level by owning assigned territories, engaging farmers, and building strong local networks.The role requires deep field engagement, farmer interaction, and hands-on execution across villages.Key Responsibilities:Farmer Engagement:- Identify villages with suitable farmer profiles for product adoption- Conduct one-on-one farmer interactions and plot-level visits- Plan and execute village meetings, demos, and farmer awareness campaigns- Build farmer influencer networks to support product adoptionSales & Conversion:- Pitch digital agriculture products to farmers and rural retailers- Create and manage a demand generation pipeline within assigned villages- Achieve daily and monthly sales targets- Onboard farmers onto digital platforms and manage the complete sales journey- Build long-term relationships to ensure repeat usage and referrals- Capture testimonials and create basic product usage videos from the fieldReporting & Coordination:- Maintain accurate lead, sales, and onboarding records- Share regular market feedback, farmer queries, and field insights- Coordinate closely with reporting managers and team members for planning and executionEligibility Criteria:- Graduate or Diploma holder (any discipline)- 2-4 years of experience in village-level or field-based rolesMust-Have Skills:- Fluency in the local language- Willingness to travel daily and work extensively in villages- Comfortable using smartphones and digital applicationsGood-to-Have Skills:- Experience selling new or innovative products in rural markets- Basic understanding of crop cycles, farming practices, and cost of cultivation- Prior experience working with PACS, FPOs, SHGs, NGOs, or village collectives (ref:updazz.com)
