A Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as the primary point of contact for customers, helping to resolve queries, handle complaints, process orders, and provide accurate information about products or services.
Core Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries across multiple channels (phone, email, chat) and provide prompt, accurate support.
Process orders, modifications, returns, and account updates efficiently.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems, or escalate complex issues as needed.
Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions within CRM or internal systems.
Collaborate with relevant departments to address issues and relay customer feedback.
Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining a friendly, empathetic, and professional manner at all times.
Provide product or service information and guide customers on feature usage, especially within SaaS or tech sectors.
Assist with onboarding and training for new customers as needed.
Recommend additional products or services when appropriate (upselling/cross-selling).
