1) Sample receipt and further processing which includes
a) On receipt of sample from client check for availability of test facilities and if test facilities available receive the sample if not return the sample.
b) Obtain the request for testing in writing preferably on letter head or by mail. In case person shows his inability to do so, get test request form filled by client before accepting samples for testing
c) Fill the test request and assign unique id (AAL No) and get it signed by Technical Manager.
d) Prepare Job Card and get it signed from technical manager.
e) Mark samples with allotted AAL No and send it for testing along with job card.
f) Enter sample details in register and maintain record of samples received etc. Also maintain excel sheet on daily basis
g) Scan the request letter for testing and save it in proper file so that it can be readily retrievable.
h) Enter the test reports in Excel sheet and send them to accounts department for bill preparation
i) Dispatch test reports to client and make entry in register/excel sheet.
2) Make quotations and send them by mail/hard copy to relevant parties and keep hard
copy of it in file. Also share this quotation with accounts dept.
3) Dispatch of courier and keep records of such dispatches
4) Check the mails at regular interval and give copy of it to concerned person for further
necessary action.
5) Collect payment from clients and issue them cash receipt.
6) Deposit the cash collected in accounts department in the evening and obtain receipt
of deposition of cash.
7) Give daily report to the director with regards to No of samples received and cash
received on that day.
8) Any other job as assigned by management
