Job Description

The Logistics Customer Service Coordinator is pivotal in managing the coordination of freight forwarding operations and ensuring high-quality customer service. This role involves facilitating the seamless movement of goods, addressing customer inquiries, and working closely with internal and external partners to optimize logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Freight Coordination: Coordinate and monitor the transportation of goods from origin to destination. Arrange freight services (air, sea, and land) and negotiate rates with carriers & agents Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements.

Customer Service:

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates on shipment status and handling inquiries. Address and resolve customer issues, including delays, damages, and other logistics-related problems. Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.

Documentation and Compliance:

Prepare and process necessary shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs paperwork Ensure all documentation complies with local and international regulations. Keep accurate records of all shipments and communications. Logistics Optimization: Analyze and optimize freight forwarding processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to streamline operations. Stay updated with industry trends and changes in regulations to enhance service delivery. Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with sales, agent, warehouse, and transportation teams to ensure coordinated efforts. Communicate effectively with overseas agents, carriers, and service providers.
