Job Summary:
We are hiring a proactive and organized air & Sea Freight Customer Service Executive to manage customer accounts and ensure seamless coordination of sea cargo operations. The ideal candidate will support both FCL and LCL shipments, providing clients with accurate information and excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Sales Support: Communicate with customers about their air & sea freight needs, prepare quotations, and suggest optimal shipping solutions.
Shipment Handling: Coordinate container bookings, vessel schedules, and loading/unloading processes with shipping lines and freight forwarders.
Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all necessary documentation (BLs, invoices, packing lists, etc.) is correctly prepared and compliant with maritime shipping regulations. Problem Solving: Manage shipment issues such as delays, demurrage, or documentation discrepancies with prompt and effective solutions.
Customer Retention: Foster long-term relationships by providing consistent updates and addressing customer concerns efficiently.
Operational Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sea freight transactions, client communications, and shipment histories.
Key Skills & Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of air & sea freight processes and Incoterms.
Experience working with shipping lines and port authorities.
Minimum 2 years' experience in air & sea freight customer service or logistics.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Proficient in English and Hindi
Work Environment:
International air & sea freight logistics setting.
Coordination with ports, carriers, and warehousing teams.
