to support installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of telecom endpoints including headsets and IP phones. The role involves hands-on technical support at customer locations and requires strong fundamentals in networking, operating systems, and electronics.
Key Responsibilities
Install and troubleshoot headsets and related accessories
Install, configure, and troubleshoot IP phones
Support customers with endpoint exclusion issues
Configure IP phones with servers such as Asterisk, Genesys, 3CX, Cisco, Avaya, etc.
Perform headset setting adjustments on Windows, Linux/Unix, and macOS
Configure and tune headsets on softphones and video conferencing platforms (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
Repair headsets and adapters as required
Conduct preventive maintenance visits at customer sites
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma or ITI with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of Windows (mandatory); Excel, Linux, and macOS are good to have
Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, protocols, etc.)
Understanding of electronic components and PCBs
Hands-on soldering knowledge
Willingness to travel to customer sites for support and maintenance
