Company Name: FIS Global Job Position: Customer Support Representative Position Type: Full-time Experience Required: Relevant work experience or a combination of work and education Education Requirement: General Equivalency Diploma (High school diploma or GED) Travel Percentage: 0% General Duties & Responsibilities: - Provide customer support through phone, email, or instant messaging to consumers. - Serve as the main point of contact for inbound customer issues. - Transfer more technical product-related issues to the appropriate Product Support department. - Handle a large volume of inquiries about FIS products and services and resolve a targeted percentage of those inquiries. - Troubleshoot customer problems, identify the root cause, and use resources to resolve them effectively. - Escalate issues to the appropriate resource when unable to resolve them in a reasonable amount of time. - Follow up on escalated issues with coaching and mentoring to learn the appropriate solutions and expand overall knowledge. - Track and document inbound support requests, ensuring accurate notation of customer problems or issues. - Update customer information and ensure accurate entry of contact information. - Meet job standards such as quality, adherence to schedule, and average handle time. - Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced Customer Service Associates - Consumer when needed. - Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements: - High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED). - Knowledge of FIS products, services, and business operations to effectively resolve customer inquiries. - Excellent customer service skills to build high levels of customer satisfaction. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Proficiency in computer navigation and operation. - Demonstrates effective people skills and sensitivities when dealing with others. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
