The Customer Service Assistant is responsible for delivering a high-quality customer experience in a premium roastery.
The role involves assisting customers with product selection, ensuring attractive product presentation, handling billing, and maintaining exceptional hygiene and service standards.
The position requires strong customer interaction skills and attention to detail to reflect the premium nature of the brand and strictly adhering to SOPs issued by management.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers professionally and assist them in selecting premium roastery retail envt.
Explain product varieties, origins, quality grades, freshness, and storage methods to customers.
Handle billing and payments accurately using POS systems.
Ensure proper display, weighing, packing, and labelling of products as per brand standards.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and visual appeal of counters and display areas.
Handle customer feedback, special requests, and basic complaints courteously.
Assist in inventory checks, stock rotation (FIFO), and replenishment.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
Support promotional activities, festive packaging, and in-store offers.
Uphold brand image by maintaining professional appearance and service etiquette.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in retail, preferably in premium food, dry fruits, or specialty stores.
Graduate or Plus Two qualification preferred.
Experience in weighing, packing, and handling food products is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of POS systems and billing processes.
